This peaceful, family-run Edwardian B&B with stunning views offers superb accommodation and personal service, with easy access to Bath by bus, car or on foot.
High Beeches B &B is on the southern slopes of Bath, in an area of outstanding natural beauty with many walks and fine pubs. High Beeches is a few minutes’ walk from Wansdyke and the ancient village of Southstoke. Both university campuses are close by.
Enjoy views of Horsecombe Vale in the Midford Valley, and out towards Midford Castle. Each well-equipped room has an en suite shower and free Wi-Fi access. The B&B offers courtesy pick-up/drop-off to the railway or bus stations, which are about 10 minutes' away. Secure parking is available.

A healthy, high-quality breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the gardens. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit juice, fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, and hot drinks. This is followed by a cooked English breakfast. Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 10:00 (or at an alternative time on request). |

The B&B is easily reached from the M3 M4 and M5 motorways and also from the A36 and A303 routes south.
It is surrounded by numerous walks, cycleways, the canal, the river and beautiful countryside. Many pubs are within walking distance. High Beeches is well located for Longleat, Wells, Cheddar, Stonehenge and Stourhead.
High Beeches B&B can sometimes collect you or your luggage from Bath Spa train or coach station (small additional charge). Collection from Bristol Airport and all London Airports can be arranged at an additional cost (request when booking). |

Travel information : |
By Car:
- Go down Midford Road (B3110), passing the Cross Keys pub on your left.
- After about 200 meters, take the 1st right turning up a bumpy track called CRANLEIGH.
- Drive nearly to the top and turn left by a five-bar wooden gate.
- High Beeches is 90 metres down the small lane on the left, with a light green garage door.
- This will bring you in to the back of the house. Walk through back gate and ring the bell on the back of the conservatory door. |

High Beeches can be difficult to find at first: a link to detailed directions will be provided in your booking confirmation email.
Well-behaved children can be accepted on request only.
Please contact the management before arrival to let them know your estimated time of arrival.
You must pay for your stay using either cash or cheque. High Beeches does not accept payment by credit card, but can take payment via Paypal with prior arrangement. |
